The California Society for Healthcare Attorneys will hold its 2008 Fall Seminar Friday, November 14th at the Hilton Oakland Airport Hotel in Oakland, California.  Mike Sullivan will present on new developments in labor and employment law impacting healthcare institutions and a look at the year to come. 

This session will survey the past year’s court decisions and new laws in labor and employment.  It will focus on new wage and hour developments that have been the subject of much litigation for health care employers, and will include advice on adjusting to these modifications in the law. The session will also cover the latest news on the Employee Free Choice Act and will address the new guidance on dealing with employee privacy issues.
