James Leonard represents private
and public employers in all aspects of labor and
employment litigation, including suits for wrongful
termination, defamation, discrimination, wage and
hour, and workers’ compensation discrimination.
He also counsels employers on day-to-day employment
matters and advises employers regarding new legal
developments in the workplace.
Mr. Leonard was a Rose
Foundation Fellow for the First Amendment Project in
2008. He has extensive experience with First
Amendment issues, including California’s anti-SLAPP
statute.
