Jennifer Baumann represents private and public
employers in all aspects of labor and employment
litigation and transactional practice. Ms. Baumann’s
litigation practice includes defense of claims
involving wage and hour disputes, discrimination,
wrongful termination, retaliation, defamation and
sexual harassment. She also represents employers in
administrative proceedings before the Department of
Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission, and the California Division of
Occupational Safety and Health.
In
addition, Ms. Baumann provides counseling to
employers on a variety of day-to-day employment
matters including wage and hour laws, wrongful
discharge, misappropriation of trade secrets and/or
confidential information, discrimination, employee
discipline issues, leaves of absence, terminations
and layoffs. She also helps employers draft employee
personnel policies, employment covenants, and
severance agreements. Ms. Baumann also provides
management training on sexual harassment prevention.
